Pompeo also asked: “Do you think Americans care about Ukraine?” Kelly recounted. On Saturday, Pompeo appeared to indicate that she mistook Bangladesh for Ukraine, which is 3,600 miles away. The Washington Post blasted Pompeo’s tale as a “blatant gaslighting attempt.”There is “absolutely no way” Kelly mistook Bangladesh for Ukraine, the Post declared. “The mere fact” that Pompeo challenged Kelly to begin with suggests he didn’t “know who he was dealing with,” the Post wrote.
