The South Africa Freedom Day was marked in Nairobi last Thursday with pomp and colour at the South African ambassadorial residence, Nairobi. The celebrations were hosted by South African Ambassador Koleta Mquiwana. The chief guest was Kenya's ICT CS Joe Mucheru. Others who graced the event were nominated Senator Zipporah Kittony, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman Kiprono Kittony, UNDP resident representative Siddharth Chatterjee, The Star editor-in-chief Charles Kerich, among other dignitaries.
