Only a handful of times since Trump’s inauguration, writers have talked about political exhaustion and how to address it, with varying suggestions. Likewise, commentators have devoted huge amounts of time to covering the drama of the inner workings of the Trump administration, right down to the specific ways in which Trump demeaned Reince Priebus, his former chief of staff. Is there something we can do to protect vulnerable communities by statute rather than by executive order or administrative interpretation?
