ISLAMABAD: In a major political breakthrough, former chief minister Sindh Syed Ghous Ali Shah along with other political heavyweights called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and announced they would be joining the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Others who joined the ruling party included former federal minister Syed Zafar Ali Shah, Syed Safdar Ali Shah and Barrister Mustafa Mehsar. The premier welcomed the political leaders in the party and expressed his desire to expand the PTI to deep into Interior Sindh. “In these rallies to be held in Sindh, political heavyweights will join the PTI. The top leadership of the PTI has also started extensive contacts with the political heavyweights in this regard, the source said.
