more-inPolitical activity in the rather sedate Sirpur Assembly constituency seems to be picking up what with one of the emerging leaders initiating a mass contact programme in the constituency on Saturday. The event has evoked much response as the emerging leader hails from a political background and is no stranger to the voters in the constituency. P. Harish Babu, a paediatric orthopaedician, is the son of former MLAs Palvai Purushotham Rao and Palvai Rajyalakshmi. The mass contact programme, Palle Palleku Palvai, without a time-frame started off, has staarted from his native Rebbena village in Bejjur mandal and will cover all the villages in the constituency. Mr. Harish Babu He has not set a time frame for the programme that aims to interact with every voter.
