Donald Trump’s promise to boost U.S. oil and gas exploration and production should give the oil and gas industry a lift. Investors are waiting to see if the energy industry absorbs the interesting lessons of Trump’s extraordinary campaign. But the industry should seriously study how Trump won the White House.
