Morawiecki informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of his decision to cancel his visit in a telephone call on Sunday afternoon, spokeswoman Joanna Kopcinska said. Netanyahu's acting foreign minister, Israel Katz, sounded circumspect about Morawiecki's cancellation.
