Police raided a house at capital's Miprur on Friday night, after which, they say, an encounter led to the death of a militant, who they believe trained the Gulshan cafe killers. Tamim and two other suspected militants were gunned down last Saturday, when police raided a house in Narayanganj. Murad, called 'Major Murad' by the members of his outfit, had also used aliases 'Jahangir' and 'Omar', said police. Rupnagar police's OC Syed Shaheed Alam and Inspector Shaheen Fakir were critically wounded during the raid. Dhaka Metropolitan Police's spokesperson Masudur Rahman said on Saturday that they were out of danger following successful surgeries.
