Some two years after pop star Justin Timberlake was caught drink-driving, US police have released a video of his arrest. A woman, who identifies herself to the police as a friend of Timberlake’s, tries unsuccessfully to persuade the officers not to arrest the singer. The incident took place in mid-June 2024 in Sag Harbor in the Hamptons, around 150km east of New York City. The mug shot of Timberlake released by the police at the time went viral on the Internet.
