Police said that teenager Chloe Champion last left her home at about 7.50pm to go to a petrol station. Sussex Police said that she had left her address in Hellingly, East Sussex, and was last seen leaving the petrol station at about 8pm. She was also wearing white headphones. Hellingly is a small village in East Sussex that has just 1,820 inhabitants according to the last Census. Headquartered in Lewes the police force is also responsible for policing the unitary authority of Brighton and Hove as well as the counties of East Sussex.
