MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: Authorities are hunting down the suspects in Tuesday’s ambush in Picong town, this province, that killed a policeman and wounded four others, including the town’s chief of police. Slain in the ambush was Police Officer (PO)1 Rohodin Taha. Rudy Bagsingit, Marawi police chief, and three others whose names were not made available. The gunmen escaped shortly after the ambush. Agustin Tello, provincial police director, said one of the attackers was identified as Akil Darimbang, who staged the ambush in retaliation for his arrest.
