PETALING JAYA: Police surrounded Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos’ house in Ampang on Thursday. Jamal had earlier scheduled a press conference for 3pm outside the Ampang police station. The press invite claimed that 12 of his friends had been detained following his public complaints on illegal gambling in Ampang Jaya. In photos provided by Jamal, police officers in plainclothes can be seen standing outside the grounds of his house. “I am prepared to be held and arrested as long as the issue at hand, which is illegal gambling, is addressed,” he added.
