We know the ex-Bigg Boss contestant and people's favourite Oviya had attempted suicide on the reality show Bigg Boss (in the August 4th episode). The reason they state is that they provoked Oviya to commit suicide by putting a tremendous amount of pressure on the actress, which led to her immersing herself in the swimming pool for a long time. The complainant says that the show only wanted to boost TRP ratings and that was one of the reasons they aired the alleged suicide attempt. They have now issued summons to Oviya for her clarification the issue. However, Oviya's manager has denied suicide attempt by the actress.
