Armed police seized 100 weapons from one house after they were called to a 'large scale' street battle between rival gangs. Officers were called to the residential street in Jarrow, South Tyneside, after groups of men clashed with baseball bats, knives and an imitation firearm while frightened members of the public called 999. Lincoln, of South Shields, was imprisoned for 14 months after admitting affray. Cory Patterson, 25, of South Shields, Daniel Purvis, 30, of Jarrow, William Tisseman, 23, of South Shields and Shaun McCord, 34, of Jarrow all admitted affray. All four men were sentenced to 14 months imprisonment, suspended for 12 months with 80 hours unpaid work.
