NewsA stock of 15, 431 bottles of foreign champagne and wine worth over Rs.50 million have been seized by police during a raid in Kotahena. Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) conducted the raid based on a tip-off. A 44-year-old resident of R.A. De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 03, was arrested along with the stock of expensive foreign liquor bottles. The suspect was later released on police bail. The PNB is conducting further investigations.
