Police in Makueni on Sunday impounded 6,180 rolls of bhang estimated to be worth Sh3 million. The bhang was being ferried in a Toyota Corolla from Nairobi to Mombasa. Makueni Police Commander Joseph Napeiyan said the vehicle was found at Emali after the suspects abandoned it and fled. "The driver refused to stop when he was flagged down by police officers, they were pursued and they abandoned the vehicle near Emali town and fled on foot," Napeiyan said. He said the police recovered one phone which they will use to track the drug peddlersThe vehicle was towed to Email police station.
