Police seeking German tourist approaching young girlsSIMON MAUDE/STUFF Police are seeking information on a German tourist who has been approaching young girls. Police are appealing for sightings of a German tourist who has made several approaches to young girls. A 6-year-old girl was approached in Dunedin by the man seeking directions, but when approached by an adult he "took off" said Senior Sergeant Mark Donaldson. That incident occurred in police's Southern District, as did a similar incident involving another young girl. Police were not in a position to release further information about the man or his vehicle's registration.
