The woman, 71, died later in Waikato Hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses in a crash that killed a 71-year-old woman in Rotorua. The crash, involving a car and a pedestrian, happened at 1.40pm at the roundabout intersection between Ranolf Street and Malfroy Road. The woman was taken to Waikato Hospital with critical injuries where she died on January 29. Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crash, they said in a statement.
