Toronto police are seeking suspects in two stabbings in Scarborough in the past two days but say it is too early in the investigation to determine if the incidents are related. Both stabbings occurred near the Scarborough Town Centre. Hopkinson could not confirm if the stabbing occurred at the Scarborough YMCA. Family and friends paid tribute to Kareem Deerr at a candlelight vigil in Scarborough on Saturday night. Police said the fatal stabbing occurred after two groups of people crossed paths in the station.
