Police are searching for the owner of a bag containing $14,000 cash that was left on a TTC bus on Friday afternoon. The bag was found by a commuter on the Sheppard bus at about 2:30 p.m. and was given to TTC officials, who passed it on to Toronto police. Craig Brister of the Toronto Police Service said that using the personal effects found in the bag, they were able to identify the owner of the bag, but haven’t been able to contact them yet. “There is no criminality involved,” said Brister. “It’s nothing beyond someone left a bag with some money on the bus.”There was speculation the incident was connected to the theft of $13,000 in cash from Joakim Loh, whose son Raphel, 31, passed away earlier this month.
