Police are appealing for information after the high-speed pursuit of a motorcyclist in Invercargill last night. A police spokesman said police engaged in a pursuit with a motorcycle travelling south along Elles Rd at 10.21pm. The pursuit was abandoned soon after due to the speed of the motorcycle, he said. Police did not see the registration details of the motorcycle but the rider was wearing a black leather jacket and a white, red and blue helmet.
