A man in his 30s is wanted for attempted murder after Hamilton police say he stabbed a woman multiple times early Friday in Corktown Park and almost killed her. It was almost 4 a.m. when police say the woman was walking through the park before a man attacked her. He stabbed her multiple times in her upper body. As the man stabbed her, officers say the victim's 28-year-old boyfriend arrived, prompting the suspect to run away toward the west side of the park. Police are continuing a canvass for surveillance footage near the Corktown Park to James Street South area.
