Police are looking for a person of interest in the Shannon area. Police have been hunting a man of interest in the Shannon area. An officer at the scene said the man was believed to be from Shannon. A Stuff reporter at the scene saw police with rifles, while a helicopter circled the area. Cordons were in place near the Manawatū River.
