Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have rescued four kidnapped victims from their abductor’s den in the forest. On receipt of the information, the DPO swiftly mobilised patrol teams and vigilantes to the bush where information had it that the kidnappers took the victims to. The kidnappers, on sighting the headlights of the police patrol vehicles, all fled in different directions abandoning the victims. Consequently, the police were able to rescue the victims unhurt. The patrol teams succeeded in rescuing one Ovwenu Augustine and Victor Orogunu who sustained gunshot injuries on his right leg.
