Police have recovered a pistol that was stolen from a police car in Gore. The second of two Police-issued Glock pistols stolen during a serious incident in Gore in August has been recovered. Those charges were laid in relation to an incident on August 14, when police attempted to stop a vehicle in Gore. Two Glock pistols containing ammunition rounds were stolen from the weapon box in the police car using the keys. One of the stolen pistols was recovered at the same Te Tipua property where Gemmell was located, police said.
