Police are providing security for the rights activist Sultana Kamal after the radical Islamist group Hefazat-e-Islam publicly threatened her with violence. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Ramna Division and the Detective Branch (DB) have taken joint measures for her safety.
