The Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Njoro Sub-County has launched investigations into an incident that saw a 15-year-old girl defiled and killed, and her body dumped into a river in Mau Narok. “The body was found about 32 hours after the girl left her home. It was recovered from a river in Mau Narok covered in and the girl had been badly defiled,” Mr Huka said. The deceased’s father John Kamau noted that efforts to search for the girl proved futile. The Sub-county police commander said the body was taken to Egerton University mortuary as police continue with investigations.
