A police officer was knocked unconscious as detectives uncovered a house party with 30 people breaching coronavirus lockdown rules. In total eight officers were injured, including one with a suspected fracture to their hand, while trying to close the party down in Walworth, south London. Metropolitan Police tonight tweeted video footage of the party, which appeared chaotic with "stay back" heard amid the shouting. The force said: "We closed down a house party in #Walworth @MPSSouthwark earlier this week, in response to calls from local residents. "A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and assaulting a police officer.
