[Courtesy]One police officer was killed and another seriously injured after they were hit by trucks near Naivasha town. In the first incident, an officer on patrol was hit and killed Wednesday evening by a truck ferrying sand along the Mai Mahiu-Narok road. Also killed was a driver of a personal car that the officer was inspecting at a roadblock near Suswa police post, just 15 kilometres from Mai Mahiu town. [Courtesy]In the second incident, a traffic police officer was injured after he was hit by another truck along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. The officer had stopped the matatu when the truck, headed to Naivasha, hit the matatu and the officer at Matches trading centre in Kinangop.
