Police officer dragged 40ft by car driven at him returned to duty same day


Met Police have said the officer was lucky to 'escape serious injury' after he was dragged along so fast the sole of his shoes tore off during the incident in Southgate at around 9.45am. The officer suffered minor bruises and grazes and was treated for his injuries at a police station. He also suffered from shock but bravely continued with his duties for the rest of the day.
