A police officer called to a house party has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being assaulted by a teen at the event. The garda was hospitalised after going to break up the party in Dublin during Ireland's coronavirus restrictions. The force was called after the house party in Finglas descended into chaos - ending with two teenage girls being detained, Dublin Live reports. Gardai responded to reports of a house party at around 11.30pm on Saturday, with a row understood to have broken out in the front garden of the home. A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí attended to a report of a house party at Glenties Drive, Finglas last night, 27 February, 2021 at approximately 11.30p.m.
