General News of Monday, 16 April 2018Source: ghanaweb.comPolice officer and daughter crashed to death at Suhum - AmanaseThe deceased, Sergeant Daniel AbotsiA police sergeant with the Konongo divisional command and his daughter have been crushed to death after their vehicle collided head-on with a Metro Mass Transit bus at Amanase near Suhum in the eastern region, Monday. Sergeant Daniel Abotsi who was driving from Accra to Kumasi in his Opel Astra with registration number GT 1742 -12 veered off his lane into the opposite lane and crashed into the bus with registration number GR 4732-Z travelling from Koforidua to Accra direction. Regional police PRO, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh who confirmed the incident said the driver of the bus, 42-year-old Clifford Seidu is currently in police custody assisting with investigation. He adds that the dead bodies have been removed and deposited at the Suhum government hospital for preservation and autopsy.
