I. Periyasamy (DMK) alleged in the Assembly on Friday that the State police personnel were not cooperating with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in many cases, including the murder of K.N. Speaking on the demand for grants for the Police Department, the Attur MLA said without the cooperation of the police, the CBI probe could not proceed any further. When Mr. Periyasamy pointed out that anti-alcohol activist and advocate Nandhini had been arrested in a contempt of court case only a few days before her wedding, Law Minister C.Ve.
