(Photo: Chakkrapan Natanri)KHON KAEN: Police have arrested a suspect behind a gold shop robbery in tambon Ban Thum of Muang district, where 26-baht weight of gold necklaces worth about 1.9 million baht were stolen last Sunday. His motorcycle, used in the escape, was also recovered after being dumped in a nearby body of water. Police had earlier offered a 100,000-baht reward for information leading to the arrest. Pol Maj Gen Noppakao Somanas, deputy commissioner of Provincial Police Region 4, said a crime re-enactment will be conducted before noon on Sunday.
