Four men who duped people by claiming they were CBI officers, by promising them government jobs, were arrested by the Delhi police on Friday. The accused were identified as Ankit Singh alias Sachhu, a BA graduate, Ajit Pratap Singh graduate in Microbiology, Rawender Singh and Gyanendra Kumar, an MBA graduate. The job agents who received the messages arranged candidates and sent documents as well as the payments to Rawender Singh. Singh introduced himself as a CBI officer and had assured the complainant of a government job for which he demanded Rs 3.5 lakh. The officer said that based on technical surveillance one of the gang members Ankit Singh was nabbed.
