The Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, on Monday formally presented the acting Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). Recall that Baba was named acting IGP to replace Mohammed Adamu while the President was in London for routine medical checkup. Dingyadi told State House correspondents that he was at the Presidential Villa to present the acting IGP to the President. “He has congratulated the new acting IGP and he has asked us to ensure that we do the best that we can to ensure that he justifies the confidence that he has reposed in him.
