more-inThe Kochi City Police have launched a probe into a complaint over the alleged creation of a Facebook page using the name and photograph of Justice B. Kemal Pasha, a High Court judge. According to officials, the Ernakulam Central Police have registered a case under IPC Sections 500 and 120 of the Kerala Police Act and 66 of the IT Act, based on a complaint by the justice’s private secretary Usha Vijayan. According to the complaint, miscreants are suspected to have been using the page for publishing objectionable materials with a view to harm his reputation. No arrests have been made in this connection.
