Police are looking for video to help an investigation into whether gunfire and a stabbing near a Coquitlam, B.C., mall on Monday afternoon are linked to gang violence in the Lower Mainland. RCMP received numerous calls about shots fired near the Coquitlam Centre at around 4:06 p.m., the force said. Police believe one shot was fired and no one appears to have been injured as a result. "It is unclear at this time if the stabbing and shooting are related, or if there is any connection with the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict," Law said. Last Monday, a 20-year-old man was shot dead in nearby Town Centre Park, one of three fatal shootings in public places across the Lower Mainland last week.
