Hamilton police are investigating following a fatal collision on the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway. One person is dead after the crash that happened shortly after 4 a.m., according to police. Photos from the scene near Garth Street show multiple vehicles stopped on the road, though it's unclear how many may have been involved in the collision. The Linc was closed in both directions between Garth and Upper James streets for several hours, but police tweeted shortly before 1:30 p.m. saying their investigation was wrapping up and the road should be reopened within the hour.
