London police are investigating the death of a pre-school aged child at a residence on Nelson Street on Sunday afternoon. Police and Middlesex-London EMS were called to an address on Nelson Street between Inkerman and Rectory Streets at about 1:15 p.m. A child was located and pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy was performed on Monday, but the cause and manner of the death have not been determined. The Major Crimes Section is now assisting the Office of the Chief Coroner as the investigation into death continues.
