Donations to a Wellington hospice charity store were set alight in an apparent arson. The Newlands Volunteer Fire Brigade posted on Facebook that donated goods outside the Newlands Mary Potter Hospice Shop were set alight on Sunday night or Monday morning. "The arson is the first in our area for a long time and is something we don't want in our community. Police confirmed they were involved but said it was too early to officially say whether the fire was arson.
