Officers raced to French Street in Dalmuir after the alarm was raised. The man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The force has one officer manning an area which has been closed off near Dalmuir Square close to Dumbarton Road in the West Dunbartonshire town. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.10pm on Friday, November, 3, we received a report of an injured man in French Street, Dalmuir. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
