Shortly after 2:00 a.m., police received a call to the area of Bloor St. E. and Ritson Rd. A man was shot and killed in central Oshawa early Wednesday morning, Durham police say. The incident was initially labelled a suspicious death, but was later considered to be a fatal shooting. Bloor St. E. was closed between Ritson Rd. and Simcoe St. while police investigate the scene.
