Ottawa police are investigating a fatal head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Ottawa's east end. Shortly after 10 p.m., Ottawa police confirmed that at least one person involved in the crash had died. Police gave no further details. Russell Road was closed between Walkley Road and St. Laurent Boulevard as officers investigated. The collision happened almost exactly 24 hours after three others were injured in a head-on collision on Highway 174.
