General News of Monday, 13 January 2020Source: Graphic.com.ghPolice initiate investigations into Peki SHS foodstuff ‘bribe’A driver and bursar of the school have been invited by the police for investigationsThe police in the Volta Region has initiated investigations into a case where the authorities of the Peki Senior High School (SHS) are said to have attempted to bribe an auditor, who was auditing the accounts of the school with foodstuffs. The driver was the first to have been arrested whilst he was driving a pickup vehicle loaded with foodstuff, meant for students of the Peki SHS, to the home of the auditor. The driver was said to have been dispatched by the school authorities to send the foodstuff to home of the auditor to allegedly bribe him. He said the two other suspects, the bursar and the auditor both turned themselves in after the news broke. When the news broke, the internal auditor and the bursar turned themselves in following the report so investigations are ongoing,” Corporal Dogbatse said.
