Anthony Brake, who is charged with the second-degree murder of a man found dead in Brake’s Toronto home, has been arrested by Halifax police. Robert North of 51 Division released the new information on Sunday afternoon at a news conference at Toronto police headquarters. “Halifax police service, at about 1:15 this morning, received a call to a private residence advising they believed Mr. Brake will remain in Halifax until Toronto police transfer him back to Toronto later in the week, where he will make a court appearance, the detective stated. Brake was wanted for second-degree murder after a 47-year-old man with no fixed address was found dead in Brake’s home on Thursday, Sept. 22.
