The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) urged the public to avoid the Broadway Roundabout area in the south of the city. In a statement issued on Monday evening, a PSNI spokesperson confirmed officers had attended reports of "ongoing disorder in the area". The spokesperson added: "Petrol and paint bombs have been thrown at officers and police vehicles."
