Police identify victim in Etobicoke shooting as 24-year-old woman


A woman is dead after she was shot in a parking garage in Etobicoke, Toronto police say. Police have identified the victim as 24-year-old, Veronika Mrhova, of Toronto. Aseel Yehya, 18, was shot dead in an Etobicoke street on Jan. 9 after police said he was approached by a dark-coloured vehicle. Lingathasan Suntharamoorthy, 36, was shot dead in a Scarborough apartment building in the early morning on Jan. 12. Tesfa Welsh-Hope, 28, was shot dead Feb. 13 in Rexdale, police say.
