A man found dead near an abandoned vehicle in Coquitlam, B.C., on Sept. 23 has been identified as Jason Leigh Zellmer from Surrey, B.C., and police say his death does not appear to be random. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) took over after the death was "deemed suspicious in nature." "From the evidence gathered so far, Mr. Zellmer's death does not appear to be random," an IHIT news release said Saturday. "Investigators believe that Mr. Zellmer met with foul play and died as a result of the injuries he sustained. Police are looking for witnesses who might recognize Zellmer or saw a newer black Hyundai Elantra on Sept. 22.
