Images of the men have been released, with investigators from North-West Metro regional crime squad in Victoria believing they will assist with their inquires. The brawl followed the Melbourne Victory versus Sydney FC A-League 'Big Blue' at AAMI Park on January 26 and unfolded on Flinders St, near the Batman Ave Bridge, at approximately 10.30pm. Police confirmed a 'large number of people' were involved in the brawl, which continued to drag on towards nearby Russell Street despite multiple security guards attempting to intervene. 'This kind of behaviour is just not OK. We all know a split second decision to be violent can result in life-altering consequences,' he said.
